General Overview...
The first horses Hambleton Racing started with were in training at Kevin Ryans yard in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. They now offer top quality horse racing syndicates, based with leading trainers Archie Watson, Kevin Ryan, David O'Meara, Karl Burke and
Phil Kirby.
Owners are based all over the UK, with horses running up and down the country, so there is a horse to suit everyone!
Enjoyment, satisfaction, and winners are what we aim to provide for our owners with our racehorse syndicates.
We pride ourselves on providing a professional and personable service.
Our syndicates are relatively small with a maximum of 12 shares in each horse and we aim to make each individual feel as though they are the sole
owner.
Owners are regularly updated about their horse(s) whether it be an entry, after a race, declaration or general news about how they are training.
Social Events...
Results are important, but so is having a good time. We’ll never lose sight of how vital it is for the horses to produce the right results but,
equally, we never forget why most people get into the great sport of horse racing – for enjoyment.
That’s why we offer plenty of social events where owners can get the most out of their syndicate by meeting like-minded friends.
Examples of social events we host annually:
Doncaster Owners day – Held at the Lincoln meeting we provide a large box for everyone, all-complimentary sit down meal, raffle, prizes, talks
by tipsters ahead of the racing action.
Stud Visit – This year we went to visit Roaring Lion at Tweenhills, previous visits include Irish National Stud, Dalham Stud to visit Frankel.
Lunch is included as standard.
Owners event at Kevin Ryan’s – held in late August. All owners are invited to Kevin’s to see the Hambleton horses on the gallops and then a parade
of horses in the yard. Food is then provided at a local venue afterwards.
Numerous other events at the stables which are specific to a syndicate.
Running our first ever Charity Golf day later this year.
Also looking to introduce a Christmas lunch in December this year for everyone.

We welcomed trainers; Archie Watson, based in Lambourn and Philip Kirby, based in Richmond as two new trainers to us this year.
- Maystar was purchased at Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze Up sales in May for 35,000 euros, a son of Mayson, in training with Archie Watson. He has finished in the first two on all four of his starts including winning on debut at Lingfield and Southwell. In his last run he was beaten a head in the valuable Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Stakes at The Curragh!

The plan is to run him in the Prix Zeddaan at Deauville October 22nd, a Listed Race run over 6 furlongs, be sure to keep an eye out for him! Another exciting trip abroad for connections!

- Glen Shiel was purchased at Goffs UK Spring Horses in Training Sale, he has currently had 2 runs in the Hambleton Silks so far and is also in training with Archie Watson at Lambourn.
He is due to run in the Balmoral Handicap over one mile this Saturday, Champions Day at Ascot and should enjoy the soft ground, we wish his owners the best of luck!
Upcoming Autumn 2019 Purchases...
Our Bloodstock Team and trainers will be working hard together over the upcoming weeks to source winners for 2020 and beyond.
We are planning to purchase new yearlings with Archie Watson, Kevin Ryan and Karl Burke, horses in training with David O'Meara and a new National Hunt horse with Phil Kirby.
First purchases we made this Autumn for Kevin and Archie have already sold out without even going live on the website!
