  1. Angel's Quest - Richard Hughes / Shane Kelly
  2. Delirium - Ed De Giles / Freddy Tylicki
  3. Getna - Richard Hannon / Frankie Dettori
  4. Island Cloud - Heather Main / Oisin Murphy
  5. Kyllachys Tale - Roger Teal / George Wood
  6. Last Word - David Lanigan / Tom Queally
  7. La Vie En Rose - Mark Johnston / Joe Fanning
  8. Mittens - Sir Michael Stoute / Pat Smullen
  9. Modhilah - Harry Dunlop / Martin Harley
  10. Oberyn - Sylvester Kirk / Mitch Godwin
  11. Shaaqaaf - John Gosden / Dane O'Neill
  12. The Bear Can Fly - Ralph Beckett / FM Berry
Thoughts: Anything can happen with 2 yr olds, very interested to see Getna, the Richard Hannon trained filly with Frankie Dettori in the saddle which should make for an exciting start to the championships.

Predictions: Win Getna / EW Shaaqaaf / EW The Bear Can Fly

2:10 EBF Maiden Stakes class 5, 7F, 9 Entries..
  1. Carigrad - Hugo Palmer / Josephine Gordon
  2. De Little Engine - Jamie Osborne / William Carson
  3. Legendoire - John Gallagher / Michael J Murphy
  4. Leonidas - Marcus Tregoning / Steve Drowne
  5. Native Soldier - William Haggas / Tom Queally
  6. Peking Flyer - Ed Walker / George Baker
  7. Sureyoutoldme - Richard Hannon / Sean Levey
  8. Tai Sing Yeh - Charlie Hills / William Buick
  9. ToBrave - Roger Varian / Andrea Atzeni
Thoughts:  Again, 2 year olds, un or lightly raced so anything cold win.  Tobrave is the only one that stands out, having been 3rd at Kempton on his first start and being partnered with Andrea Atzeni this time shouldn't go against him.  Tai Sing Yeh should improve on his 5th at York and i'll be keeping an eye on the Hugo Palmer trained Carigrad.

Predictions: Win Tobrave / EW Carigrad / EW Native Soldier

2:40 Studs EBF Maiden Stakes, class 5, 7F. 9 runners.
  1. Across Dubai - William Haggas / Pat Cosgrave
  2. Desert Grey - Roger Varian / Andrea Atzeni
  3. Dubai Horizon - Saeed Bin Suroor / Oisin Murphy
  4. Endeavour -  Richard Hannon / Sean Levey
  5. Golden Opportunity - James Tate / Martin Harley
  6. Hajjam - William Knight / Freddy Tylicki
  7. Know Your Limit - Ed Walker / George Baker
  8. Magdalene Fox - Ed Dunlop / Adam Kirby
  9. Think So - Mark Johnston / Joe Fanning
Thoughts: Another field of 2 year olds, the Godolphin owned Dubai Horizon looks one to watch after coming 2nd at York on the 8th, Across Dubai (is this a theme)! is another i'm keen on,  Pat Cosgrave always seems to know how to steer our 2 year olds to success so he could indeed run well.

Predictions: Win Across Dubai / EW Dubai Horizon / EW Hajjam

3:10 Fleur De Lys Fillies'Stakes, listed race, class 1, 1M, 12 runners.
  1. Muffri'Ha - William Haggas / Pat Cosgrave
  2. Gold Sands - James Tate / Martin Harley
  3. Home Cummins - Richard Fahey / Tony Hamilton
  4. Johara - H-F Devin / Shane Kelly
  5. Volunteer Point - Mick Channon / Graham Gibbons
  6. Aljuljalah - Roger Varian / Andrea Atzeni
  7. Battlement - Roger Charlton / Pat Smullen
  8. Beauly - Charlie Hills / Jamie Spencer
  9. Crowning Glory - Ralph Beckett / F M Berry
  10. Mise En Rose - Charlie Appleby / William Buick
  11. Squash - Philip McBride / Oisin Murphy
  12. Yeah Baby Yeah - Gay Kelleway / Dougie Costello
Thoughts: Muffri'Ha being the top weight at 9-6, could be a downside but she's had 2 wins with Cosgrave this month, could he make it a triple? I do however like Mise En Rose, the 3 year old for Charlie Appleby with added cheek pieces this time and Crowning Glory, as she's in great form this year & could be up at the front having come 2nd to Muffri'Ha at Newmarket at the beginning of the month. Johara, a french twice placed listed level runner has been added in to the mix.

Predictions: Win Mise En Rose / EW Muffri'Ha / EW Battlement

3:45 Sunbets.co.uk Handicap, class 2 7F, 14 runners.
  1. Lord of the Land - David O Meara / Daniel Tudhope
  2. Faydhan - John Gosden / Dane O'Neill
  3. Oh This is Us - Richard Hannon / Sean Levey
  4. Peril - Simon Crisford / Robert Havlin
  5. Sea of Flames - David Elsworth / FM Berry
  6. Intransigent - Andrew Balding / Oisin Muprhy
  7. Barracuda Boy - Tom Dascombe / Richard Kingscote
  8. Race Day - Saeed Bin Suroor / J Gordon
  9. Alfred Hutchinson - David O Meara / Adam Kirby
  10. Bint Dandy - Chris Dwyer / Martin Harley
  11. Shyron - George Margarson / Tom Queally
  12. Charles Molson - Patrick Chamings / Joe Fanning
  13. Forceful Appeal - Simon Dow / Nicky Mackay
  14. Cool Bahamian - Eve J Houghton / Eddy Greatrex
Thoughts: The 7 year old Intransigent has had 2 2nds recently, Peril for Simon Crisford could get up the front again this time and i'll be watching the Eve J Houghton, Cool Bahamian after his win at Newmarket in August, a low weight and mid field draw all positives, but it's the John Gosden trained Faydhan that has my interest peaked with a win and a place already in his only 2 runs, although that was back in 2014 and last year after coming 3rd,Gosden remarked that 'he's a horse who doesn't have a racing brain yet' will this time away from the track have made all the difference.

Predictions:  Win Intransigent / EW  Faydhan / EW Cool Bahamian

4:20 River Eden Fillie's Stakes, class 1, 1M 5F, 12 runners...
  1. All About Time - David O'Meara / Danny Tudhope
  2. Anzhelika - David Lanigan / George Baker
  3. Bess of hardwicke - Luca Cumani / Andrea Atzeni
  4. Dogma - S Wattel / Adam Kirby
  5. Flambeuse - Harry Dunlop / Oisin Murphy
  6. Kiltara - Mark Johnston / Joe Fanning
  7. Yorkidding - Mark Johnston / Richard Kingscote
  8. Eyeshine - John Gosden / Frankie Dettori
  9. Hereawi - Ralph Beckett / FM Berry
  10. Last Tango in Paris - Hughie Morrison / Freddy Tylicki
  11. Novalina - William Haggas / Pat Cosgrave
  12. Ruscombe - Sir Michael Stoute / Pat Smullen
Thoughts: As the distance is over 1 mile, i'm more interested in the lower weights with a high draw such as Last Tango in Paris for Hughie Morrison & F Tylicki, having come 2nd at Saint-Cloud in July, the John Gosden trained Eyeshine who had a win for Dettori in Sept and 3 yr old Ruscombe for Sir Michael Stoute, the latter having run only 4 times but winning & placed 3rd 3 times.

Predictions: Win Last Tango in Paris / EW Ruscombe / EW Anzhelika

4:50 Betway Handicap, class 5, 1M2F, 14 runners...
  1. Hungerford - Eve J Houghton / Tom Queally
  2. The Salmon Man - Brendan Powell / Eddy Greatrex
  3. Hard Toffee - Conrad Allen / F Berry
  4. New Street - Jim Best / Timmy Murphy
  5. Barren Brook - Laura Mongan / George Baker
  6. Take Two - Alex Hales / Callum Shepherd
  7. Petite Jack - Neil King / Jack Mitchell
  8. Choral Festival - John Bridger / Danny Brock
  9. Loving Your Work - Ken C-Brown / Hector Crouch
  10. Squiggley - Henry Candy / Dane O'Neill
  11. Trespassed - Gordon Elliott / Jamie Spencer
  12. Artistic Flight - Jim Boyle / Pat Cosgrave
  13. Cat Royale - Jane Chapple Hyam / Freddy Tylicki
  14. Port Paradise - William Jarvis / Joe Fanning
Thoughts: Henry Candy's Squiggley won last time out at Epsom and if Mr Candy appears at Lingfield I will be having a bet on this one again... Epsom has 2 entries from Laura Mongan (Barren Brook) who beat Hard Toffee back in May at Lingfield and Jim Boyle with the lovely (Artistic Flight) first time back on the track since January this year, so anything could happen there, fingers crossed for my local trainers.

Predictions: Win Squiggley / EW Hard Toffee / EW Take Two

5:20 Sun Bets on the App Store Apprentice Handicap, class 6, 7F, 13 runners...
  1. New Rich - Eve J Houghton / Hollie Doyle
  2. Swiss Cross - Phil McEntree / Callum Shepherd
  3. Seek The Fair Land - Lee Carter / Paddy Bradley
  4. Cascading Stars - Daniel Mark Loughnane / Toby Eley
  5. Jazz Cat - Paul Cole / Adam Mcnamara
  6. Sexton Blake - Gary Moore / Joshua Bryan
  7. Encapsulated - Roger Ingram / Rhian Ingram
  8. Royal Rettie - Paddy Butler / Megan Nicholls
  9. Lucky Louie - Roger Teal / George Wood
  10. Showtime Blues - Jim Boyle / Charlie Bennett
  11. Ten Rocks- Lisa Williams / Jordan Uys
  12. Arcanista - Richard Hughes / Nicola Currie
  13. Chester Deelyte - Lisa Williams / Mitch Godwin
Thoughts: I'd like to see Roger Teal get a win with Lucky Louie in the lucky last, always up near the front in the first 5, hoping he can get in the first 3 this time from a wide draw that could help.  Oldest horse in the race is 10 yr old Seek the Fair Land for Epsoms Lee Carter, and another Epsom horse the Jim Boyle trained Showtime Blues runs.

Predictions: Win Lucky Louie / EW Arcanista / EW Jazz Cat
