What to Wear.... Jump Racing Autumn / Winter Season Edition...

With the Cheltenham Festival fast approaching and Jump racing in full swing, here is my 'What to Wear' Jump Racing A/W blog, full of ideas to help those who've never been racing before or to inspire those that attend every meeting!

For the 'Paddock Watchers' among us, make like the Royals, Kate & Pippa Middleton and invest in a Faux Fur Cossack hat or band, believe me, your head and hair will thank you on windy days...

And don't fret if you forget.. there are always pop up stalls selling everything from coats to hats at the racecourses on the day, prices usually start from Ā£10+...  As the winter sales come to an end this time of year, head to the shops to snap up those last minute bargains!

Faux fur... not just for the head! Scarves look lovely, keep you warm and comfy outside and can just jazz up your coat for that extra touch.. There are plenty of deals at the moment, check Linea at House of Fraser for a £9 cream deal, Ted Baker, Karen Millen & Wallis...

I highly recommend Charlotte Simone, who has a very fun collection of faux fur and mongolian fur scarves & jackets for this season..

Or, for those not quite brave enough to wear the faux fur just yet, there is always the Trilby, as seen on Kerry Lee this weekend at Newbury, add a feminine twist with a touch of pink or go classic with a chocolate brown or neutral black...

Every female race goer, needs the perfect handbag for makeup, racecards and betting slips.
My pick this season would be from Longchamps, not only are they lovely soft leather, quality made with a variety of sizes and shapes, but they also have the all important Jockey and Horse Badge.. These beauties were found in Bentalls...
